Have a Z51 with mag ride and front lift. I used the lowering collars on front. Not an easy install but the second one went much quicker than the first. Used spanners on the rear. This dropped the car about an inch which for me at 63 is plenty. Very noticeable. Also added the wheel spacers that finished off the look I was going for.

So, when calculating the amount to adjust the collar, either up-or-down, how many complete turns might be equal each 0.10 inch?

Great question, next time we lower a C8 Stingray we'll do some math. All our clients lower it the max amount of 0.75 inches so we go all the way to the bottom thread. - Justin
@Notstradamus4 ай бұрын
@@ParagonPerformance my reason for asking is probably more selfish than one would expect. I'm now 76 -years old and getting in-and-out has been more difficult. So, I try to guess that I can see 11 or 12 threads exposed, when the video starts, to get it down to about 0.75", so 4.5 or 5 threads might be 3/8"! I consider going up about 4.5 threads front and 3 threads on the rear, then, my next tire change, I would increase the tire size/height by 3/4" to 1", to refill the wheel wells. I know it's a bit out there, but that's what us old people do... we go back to "old School" thinking!
