Excellent Video Dave :) yes those springs also struts on front on Red Ford of Jess and yes will settle in few weeks just be patient! Also take apart I seen fly apart and plus one took apart off vechile then lay on floor blow apart like rocket launcher! Yes be dangerous if not carefull plus with good pair squeezer tongs tools agree to that !

Years ago I owned a '74 Javlin AMX and i had to replace the upper controller arm. Being young stupid and broke I used 6 muffler clampps to compress the coil sping ! Crazy but it worked. !!!

Looks good!!! If you see the color of the steel go blue you have wrecked the temper. Put a moule and pick up in the distributor and you should be good. The MSD in my Chevy pickup went out with almost no run time on it. Everyone sells bad parts sometimes. See ya next time!!

I have read that 95 or that era explorer rear springs will lower a crown Vic clip 2”. I haven’t done one but a friend of mine has. As easy as a trip to the junkyard.

Make sure that you have 12 volts going to the HEI before you change it. The ford point ignition either had a ballast resistor or a resistor wire. The HEI will not work right unless it has 12 volts.

This is a direct 12v. There was a Pertronix in it when the 292 was in it. Truck is already fixed but the video was too long so we broke it up. Thank you!!
