This is the fourth episode of our latest build on Marc's HT Holden station wagon, we talk about changing wheels, fitting our chassis kit and tail shaft and building the exhaust system.

That chassies kit was an excellent fit and gived the car new strength in the body. The hk t and g bodies were known to sag slightly especially in the front end ive seen alot of these do this and the gap between the front door and guard gets bigger at the bottom and narrower at the top so if your hk t ghas this issue then u know your chassis has sagged in the front end .

Very Good video. Good to see you using the services of the guys in Geelong to make the Drive Shaft for you. As a business owner myself. It,s great if customers outside your area give you a go.

Those subframe kits make the crash design innefective. And cutting the other crossmembers is illegal. And they are supposed to twist. Attaching the Y frames to the rest of the car like that will cause cracking. The 1"GTS front sway bar cracked the pickup points so stopping the twist will crack those points as well. While probably not as stiff as modern cars GMH did design them for the appropriate design rules. And they were designed for 300hp engines factory. And decades of cars with more power has proven them ok.
