This just gose to show what you can do on a budget and a plan. A real sweet home build that looks like it went well except for the leaf spring rear end. But hey everyone is aloud one little set back, out side of that you have a real nice car there sir. Thanks for the video and keep up the nice work an videos.

Can you please post the parts you used to install the rear belt harness bar? Thanks
@cwmotorsports44973 жыл бұрын
Trial gear tube clamps and then I went to my local metal shop for the bar. Pretty simple. I wouldn’t trust it in a true racing application though.

Now I daily drive my 1980 camaro z28 and the 8-9 mpg I get isn’t the most ideal. So I was thinking about LS swapping my camaro but I do not know what LS to get and whatnot. I want to make it a reliable not race car but mostly a cruiser with good fuel efficiency.
@cwmotorsports44973 жыл бұрын
Really any Ls would be fine. A stock 5.3 makes around 285 hp and with a cam probably around 325. They can be had for a couple hundred bucks. The small items are what add up. The biggest part is try to have a plan and do as much research as possible. Thanks for watching.

What size are the rims and tires?

How much would you say the whole swap was to put motor in and get it running
@cwmotorsports44973 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of different variations. I bought the Holley terminator x and oil pan motor mounts and cross member so that alone was around probably over $1500. I have close to $5000 in mine. You could probably do it under $2000 if you try. Thanks for watching.

@cwmotorsports44974 жыл бұрын
These are 275’s but 295 should fit. I had 315’s on it but they were rubbing the leaf spring.
