So I just lubed by GP's. I lubed all of them with krytox 205g0 on the back of the leaf only (A). Actually I lubed the whole back of it. Then I left one switch and I lubed the whole leaf including where the stems legs make contact with krytox 205g0 (B), and here's my personal results. I'll refer to 1st as A and second one as B. Switch B had slight decrease in tactility, very smooth and no ping. Switch A had a no decrease in tactility, very smooth and no ping. And this was what surprised me because I thought I'd hear some ping because I didn't lube the part of the leaf that makes contact with the legs, but lubing back of the leaf was sufficient in eliminating the ping. I also made sure that the stem was lightly lubed for both switches. One thing to note is that switch A will feel like it lost tactility slightly also but this is because the lube lessens the friction between the stem and the rails, which makes for a smoother key press. But technically it didn't lose tactility. But as least the ping is gone!

It makes enough sense, just need something on it to lower/raise the frequency which the leaf will vibrate at.

@JayzBeerz4 жыл бұрын
that's way to much lube. how much you put on one switch i could put on 5 and they sound great.
@8bitsamurai63 жыл бұрын
Yea agree specially with 205g0. Too much can actually make a switch feel way too heavy.

Is it me or do you have a panda artisan keycap for your escape key on your thumbnail? If so, where did you get ittttttttt?!?! :)
@MrAvsceriola3 жыл бұрын
yes, I made it myself using polymer clay and some extra keycaps lying around :)
@technstuff33763 жыл бұрын
@@MrAvsceriola niceeee!!! It looks really good, you should start selling them on Etsy or something cuz I’ve been looking for a keycap like that and haven’t had any luck finding any nice ones that look like that!

Hot Line Graal what? Are you just getting a full hot swap keyboard then replacing these or are you getting all the parts individually like pcb plate and case

shouldve used tribosys 3203 instead, its a better lube for tactile switches due to its low viscosity

I accidentally touched the leaf of a switch and now the tactility in it is gone

@Carter Moore took me like 3 hours to put together with 60% gmmk. In terms if it's worth it? I mean that depends, on what type of keys you like. Its very thocc though and I enjoy it. Even my gf likes typing on it hah.

@MrAvsceriola4 жыл бұрын
Wait till I do a video typing in korean...hahahha but kidding a side, this is actually my first time doing and editing videos like this and :3ildcat is one of the youtuber I'm looking up to. I also don't want to be on camera or even talking so I guess I prefer his style doing videos.. So maybe I get something on how he do his videos without noticing it. This is more of a practice video for me and also to help people lubing their new Glorious Panda. I didn't even have a typing or sound test..hehehe. But hoping to create my own style in my future videos. Thanks for the appreciation :)
