Great tutorial. I plan to get a BP for my yard in the ground during spring 2023. 3 - 4 feet size or smaller in Michigan zone 6. Is it possible to keep the growth limited to about 12 feet maximum with pruning?

Hello Sir. I have a well developed Black Pine. I bought it very mature already. This is the first year with it. I live in Texas and everything I've been reading is to decandle in June. The candles are huge on this pine so it seems to be happy. Now the candles them selves have the needles already poking out. My question is can you still decandle it? I know silly question but need some help :)
