Is there a preferred lubricant for the mount/dismount mechanism components? Mine are getting rough. I am thinking silicon spray but want to be sure. I use graphite on lock/key cylinder. Thank you!

well you can use something that lasts but once you lubricate it will attract also dirt. You can use silicon or even a small amount of lubricant for guns , it will be fine as there are no high specs for the area.

When you buy Givi cases you have the option to use the same key for all. I would not recommend to use the moto key for cases.

@@DrVstrom am doua cutii originale la care am montat butucii ce se descuie cu cheia de contact motor. Din ce motiv nu este recomandat sa descui cutiile portbagaj cu cheia de pornire a motorului?

The key can bent with use and it also has immobilizer in newer models. Opening 3 times the locks wears 3 times the key more. Just a suggestion

Ευχαριστω Νικο, αλλα σε ποιο xt αναφερεσαι? Το 1050 η το 650? Εαν ειναι το 650 εχει τα spoke wheels που ειναι πιο καλα για offroad αφου οι ακτινες μπορουν να απορροφησουν impacts καλυτερα. Τωρα το xt εχει επισης πλαστικη ποδια και handguards που για βασικο offroad προστατευoyn μια χαρα. Εγω θα επαιρνα μονο xt version καθαρα για τους τροχους και μονο. Ελπιζω να βοηθησα.

@@DrVstrom ναι για 650 ρωτούσα. Είχα 2 επιλογές αυτό η το tracer 700 αλλα γερνω αρκετά στο suzuki για τον off road χαρακτήρα . Σευχαριστω, συνέχισε την καλή δουλειά
