How to make 1.5V battery tester

I made 1.5V battery tester made by modifying a DC 300V panel voltmeter.
The measured voltage can be changed by changing the series resistance of the voltmeter.
For accurate test, load resistor must be connected.(50~100ohm)
It can be conveniently used in places where batteries are used in large quantities.

In general, what is a good current load to check a 1.5v alkaline battery? 20mA?

About 300 mA will load it enough to check the internal resistance of an AA battery. Depends on the battery capacity. Button cell would need much less. 9v battery needs about 30 mA. These are values used in some common battery testers. Some people would just measure the short circuit current by connecting a meter, set to the 10 A range, across the terminals. 2A means good. All of these use the internal resistance as a measure of remaining capacity but it’s not really reliable. Proper batters testers use a current pulse or AC current.

Напряжение, желательно, мерить под нагрузкой. Поставить нагрузочный резистор. Не увидел его в ролике.

Конечно, измерение должно быть под нагрузкой, но на какой именно нагрузке следует основываться?

Для точного теста необходимо подключить нагрузочный резистор. 50 ~ 100 Ом подходит.
