It's so fascinating, when one of the boys realizes they were wrong about something, they immediately admit it and reframe their worldview in real-time. It's very satisfying to see. Most people get angry when confronted with information that contradicts what's already in their head.

I thought about doing a similar business with communal living for remote workers/nomads. Have smaller hotel like buildings in all digital nomad hubspots with all the amenities these people need, like co-working, decent gym, pool, small cafe etc. Rent them out short term, but also via a subscription, where people can live for a discounted rate in any of the spaces around the world.

45:11 I've been wondering myself why we don't have AI refs. I don't think it'd make the sport less fun. Like when you go and play pickup at your local gym, the players ref themselves. You either respect the call or shoot for ball if there's any disagreements. Can't fathom why we're still allowing human error on the largest stages in sports

Not sure if the data cleanup business makes sense, how would you convince companies to sell you their allegedly worthless data, and have them be comfortable with you possibly selling that data to their competitors?

Question Sam , heard podcast with Noah Kagan, great stuff about conferences, I’m going to do that , I’m early 50s looking for a career change, it will be my first conference, either funding for start up’s or commercial lending funding, I’m on the east coast, what would you charge for tickets? And what did you charge for your 1st event on tickets?

The quality of your content is fantastic. - The real estate play where you have a theme like its an entrepreneur house, would work best out of SF, bc of the volume of entrepreneurs you'll be drowned out by every other hacker house. If you do it in any other city, you'll be a beacon in the dark and those types of people will flock to you. - Crumbl will crumbl. - For Basketball, they need to get rid of the 2 and 3 point system. the point needs to be on a more continuous range. Layups are 1 point and half court shots are 4 points and then its a sliding scale for any point in between. - For the sharing economy, I would think home gyms would be a great way to utilize your space more. - How about I let someone drive my car for Uber while I'm working in the city so I don't have to pay for parking and they pay me for being able to use my car - For utilizing restaurant space better, there should be three restaurants in the same space that occupy the building at different times. IHOP for breakfast, Sam's Sandwiches for Lunch time, and Shaan's Spaghetti Surprise for the dinner time. You structure it so each restaurant has quick setup and teardown. - I don't agree that the "future of work" will be a large % of gig work (30%-50%). There is too much tacit knowledge that each company has that you wouldn't be able to pull anyone in and have them be efficient. You can't freelance customer relations. I don't know if it was intentional but I noticed you've stopped doing this: Sam: Hey, have you heard of this obscure thing? Shaan: Uh, No, Sam: OK it's ... You're skipping straight to the explanation now. Business idea of the day: Parking lot that caters for people that sleep in their cars (Bathrooms, wifi, electricity, vending machines)

@@mariomaro7 That’s Bullcrap. It was a LEGITIMATE question. Why are you triggered?!? Are you a closet racist?!? A “person of color”…GTFOH. Shawn is and Indian/American. Representation matters bruh!! The only African Americans they ever highlighted are Entertainers.. I can name 10 tech entrepreneurs off the top of my head that would be great on the show!! It’s a HUGE African American audience that watches or listens to their Podcast.
