wow...I'm first. I going to build your jig tomorrow. I don't exactly get the part after the five legs of the star are cut and glued together.....the second jig....like why can't that just be cut against the fence of the miter saw? I know you're not going to answer me but I'm hoping someone will. Anyways, great video series. Thanks for posting.

Great to hear! I linked a longer video that covers the 2nd part of the jig including an option to just use the fence on the miter saw instead. I found it easier to make centered left/right cuts using the jig. However, the jig took a ridiculously long time to build and line up properly. But now that it's built, I'm good to go! BTW if you try using the fence instead of a jig, set your saw to 36 not 54. I cut those triangles at 54 on the miter saw to give me the 36 on my jig. Hope this helps!

Is the bevel angle 19.5 or 25? What is the miter angle? I looked for the extended play that you mentioned but couldn't find it.
