how to make 4v battery charger
hi friends in this video i have made a 4v battery charger it is made using common and easily available components. It has auto cutoff feature which protect your battery from being over charged. I hope this video will be helpful to you please like share and subscribe.
Components:
1- 1X BD139 transistor
2- 1XBC557 transistor
3- 2X BC547 transistors
4- 2X 100 ohm resistors (1/4 watt)
5- 4X 10K ohm resistors (1/4 watt)
6- 1X 1N4007 diode
7- 1X 10K variable resistor
8- 1X red led
9- 1X blue led
10- 1X 100uf 50V capacitors (electrolytic)
11- 1X 5mm dc female jack
12- vero board
13- jumper wires
14- 6V power supply

Are you sure that after the full charge ( set preset at 4.7v ) and when blue led off, the output voltage of the circuit is 0v ? mean no over charge after all over the night?

Thanks brother please tell me the battery +ve and - ve where will be connected. In circuit diagram you mentioned only charger part +ve and - ve. But there is no indication for battery +ve and - ve. just you have soldered blue and white wire in this circuit for battery. Just tell about battery +ve to this place and - ve to this place. Thanks Brother for new ideas of charging device with auto cut. But Brother, as I told you/commented in your earlier vedio please make a video on 6v/4.5Ah lead acid battery charger with auto cut and without using any heavy bulky transformer or using any X-rated voltage dropping capacitor . Once again, thanks for innovative ideas. Please provide a data sheet for x-rated/voltage dropping capacitor in which it can be understood the character of the capacitor and also it comes to know that how much voltage along with what amount of current it really drops.

in above schematic, if input volt is 6VDC , OP at charging end will come around 4.120 VDC. since you set the cutoff at 4.8 VDC, Batt will never reach at that level and it will be forever charging. Charging voltage at output should be higher than cutoff voltage. How did you tackle that

He is using 6 V power supply. When the lead acid battery reaches 4.8 V, charging automatically stops.

Today I made auto cutoff 4 volts battery charger .It is not cutting of properly,first it cut off after few seconds again on then cutoff afterward it is continuously on.What does it mean,why it is not working properly ,I mean the circuit should not be auto on once it completely charged the battery.
