Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 1,700 acre farm. Cole promotes agriculture by filming his day-to-day adventures with his Dad (Daddy Cornstar) and brother (Cooper) on the farm. With a lot of help from Daddy Cornstar, Cole instills humor and education into his videos fit for both young adults and adults. Despite being 22-years old, Cole has an old-fashion work ethic with an innovative approach toward agricultural technology and practices. Cole's mission is to prove the American Dream is not dead and be a megaphone for agricultural education and innovation, from technological advances in farming equipment to conservation practices.

works for everything too....not just farming families. My dad was very much like daddy cornstar....he said "crick" and "warsh"... and had that same country boy goodness. He as not as easy going when it came to doing things your way and not his though...lol... He knew his way was always the best...and he would let you do it your way and fail....then show you how you should have done it if you would have listened to him....lol... I miss my dad... gone 5 years now... hard to believe. Daddy Cornstar reminds me so much of him.

When foraging mushrooms, use a cloth bag (a pillowcase works) so the mushroom spores can distribute through the woods as you walk home. It helps the population for next year. Also, using a plastic bag can make your mushrooms a little more slimy when you get home.

Hey Cornstar fam ! Watching you from Paris France, but I'm from the south of France, right by the Spanish border. We get morels too here, but they're pretty hard to find, and we keep the places where we find'em real secret ! Back when I was a child in the 80's we'd find pounds and pounds every year on my grandpa's farm. I'm glad to see that despite the fact you farm in an industrial way using carcinogenic chemicals you still keep in touch with true mother nature... And I love your videos ! Dad has the correct attitude about sharing ideas on how to "get things done" around the farm. Its the mark of a successful farm. Cooper and Cole each have strong points and seem to get along. No reason your farm shouldnt continue to grow and prosper. Lets just say, I grew up on a farm and all 3 boys had no interest in farming due to ...... well you get the idea.

She has a small woods with very tall pines. I do not have a chainsaw but I wanted to get rid of all the down trees. I pulled them all out, cut all the branches off and cut the logs into fire wood for my brother. I think that I have done about 50 tree so far. There are about 15 more dead standing trees I need to take down. Some I can just push over by hand. I love your videos and how good to see guest stars on your show.

Hey Cole!!! Love the channel. Could you please make your videos longer or add extra videos at the end of your videos For example like bloopers or extra video footage that wasn't used during the video. 😉. I know you put in a lot of work but it saddens me once your video ends after 11minutes...Keep it up KornStars!!!

The thing about people is that you adapt to your environment. I use to go on a week long fishing trip, staying at a large marina. There would be 500-600 large sail boats. When the wind was blowing all you could hear was the rigging hitting the masts or the wind howling. By the end of the week, you no longer heard the noise. I live a couple hundred yards of a major train freight route. The first couple of days, you hear the trains. After a while, unless they're running very heavy or have to stop for a track switch, they become white noise. What you do know is that very heavy trains operating at the top of the speed limit shake the ground and house.

The first mushroom was a tree mushroom . Not poisonous but you won’t want to eat them . We used to pick them and carve some thing on them and leave them for the next bunch of people that would go up to the cabin we renter up in the north of NEW YORK STATE , AN HOUR SOUTH OF THE CANADIAN BORDER . They don’t rot, they just get hard ,rock hard . I they get big,18”X18” the biggest I have found . I have hen of the woods in my back woods ,have a great day .

Daddy Cornstar talking about family = GREAT! I love picking morels, and yes, they are hard to find, however, here in Alaska, the year after a big wildland fire they are abundant in many of the burned over areas. I think you like being a runner daddy Cornstar. LOL Good video!

Thanks for letting us know about the noise from the windmills, I always wondered how loud those large ones are. I lived next door to a guy who had a small one and sometimes it was as loud as a plane taking off.
