If you trim as the first step you probably won't have to chamfer the case mouth after expanding the neck and sizing the outside of the neck after trimming

I just lube the cases with Imperial case lube and run them through the Mongoose resizing die, then trim. Haven't had a problem yet. I have started to anneal the cases after each firing to lengthen case life. The Analeze annealer makes it simple.

You won’t have a problem doing it I did the same when I first started with the cartridge 4 years ago. What I didn’t like is the little bubble it leaves around the shoulder where it meets the case body wanted it to be more uniform that’s how I came up with this process. I’ve heard of others kind of doing something similar so I gave it a shot with my own touches and it works great.

I make my .277 wolverine with a 3 step process. Spray One shot on 5-10 pieces of .223/5.56 brass take my .277 WLV sizer die then use a decent small pipe cutter to 1.54 then chamfer/Debur. Makes perfect formed .277 Brass. I used to precut them with the harbor freight but I like being able to do the full process with out using power tool.

What advantages does the 6 mm mongoose have over 6x45 or other cartridges in this same ballpark??? Thanks

The mongoose can handle higher pressures and has more case capacity than the 6x45. Usually when working up a load my starting charge is 6x45 data and then I go up 1.5-2gr over that if the case fill will allow it.

No idea but if it works then it’s a multi cartridge video I guess. I’ve heard the tcu named but never looked into it.
