I'm almost done with the dragon :D It is so much fun to do it and I'm already so happy about how it is turning out! Great video, this is the best 3d origami piece I've ever seen :) Great job!

Theorigamiwing I didn't understand the part when you put the 8 pieces after you join the tail and leave spaces

How big is the finished dragon? And what size pieces do you use to make it? Is it 1\32 or 1\16 pieces from A4 paper? Or other size? I really want to make this.

theorigamiwing do you need to paste the peces?
@theorigamiwing9 жыл бұрын
fran quesada lopez you may have to glue the wings, legs and head on. The rest of the model should hold together. But for a more secure model you can glue with PVA glue like shown in my video "Brush Gluing a 3D Origami Model - 3D Origami Basics" :)

Where do you keep all of the things you make
@theorigamiwing9 жыл бұрын
craffter12435 Unfortunately the dragon, spiral bowl, toucan and vase stand are dismantled, and the pieces are used for prototype models. The rest are currently cluttered on a book shelf.

theorigamiwing how is the size in heigh??
@theorigamiwing9 жыл бұрын
fran quesada lopez Unfortunately this is one of the few models I took apart. but from what I can remember the body stood about 10cm (4 inches) high. And the head about 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) depending on how you shape the neck.

How long did it take to make all the pieces ? ^^
@theorigamiwing10 жыл бұрын
JiraiyaApproves I fold the pieces while watching TV, listening to music etc. But iif I were to sit down and fold constantly, it would take about 11-12 hours
@jiraiyaapproves882810 жыл бұрын
theorigamiwing Okay thank you for the answer but i have 1 more question your pieces have a "different" opening like me.. like yours are way wider than mine how did you do that ?(sorry for my english)
@theorigamiwing10 жыл бұрын
JiraiyaApproves If you watch the video "How To Fold The Pieces - 3D Origami Basics". near the end it shows connecting the pieces into a stick. This stretches out the pockets :)
