You definitely do need to design the paper to be at least a half inch smaller or more because the size of the entire frame is measured 8x8 on the outside of the frame side to side.

Turned out beautiful - I am so glad to see this as Cricut Design Space has a Nativity Scene that is layered in blues - I want to make it into a card that has a shadow box effect - the top layer of the card has accordian folder sides that I used on another card - I may do print then cut on a few layers to keep them one layer - can’t get the card too thick or heavy as it has to travel to Canada
