Just one thing to note, u probably figured this out but you only need to build ONE t flip and then have both buttons leading into it, rather than two, one for each button. I'm prolly the only one who had that issue bc im slow but just thought I'd point it out

If anyone's having issues after adding in the T-flip-flop, make sure you're using a stone button and not a wooden one, they have different signal lengths and the wooden one is too long, which breaks the system

So im having an issue with the double piston, it works perfect when no blocks are applied, but once a block is pulled sideways to bring the first block off the piston, it pulls it onto the observer, which then forces the double piston to keep the top one extended as part of the door

im a bit late, but if you have any packed ice, ice, glass, or any other blocks that dont support redstone signals through blocks, than that might be why. also, dont use a wooden button, or any pressure plate. and make sure your block placements are correct.

Sounds really dumb but make sure you are using a stone button. Wood buttons make it mess up somehow.

OH i literally just found the solution. Ok. On the right side, there are a bunch of redstone dust, that have no blocks next to them in the video, when i tried to incorporate thr build into my world, i just left thr blocks next to the redstone there. That's the mistake, the redstone dust has to be free of unnecessary blocks.

Chances are that you are in bedrock edition. Even if you are not, I can confirm this works on 1.16.5 (also 1.16.3), suggesting that there is a chance that you have made a minor mistake. Hope this helps!
