I had made a note in a little book I use for important info. Passwords and whatever I need to remember. I just found that little black book and came across a notation that I wanted to make the Beaming Bangle. I’m so happy I found and The Little Beading Closet! I will be making your bracelet soon and I’m sure many others! I love your designs! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! My name is Shari too. But I don’t know how you spell your name. Thank you again! ❤️

I started beading in 2014, sort of making use of retirement time, sold some pieces, had a website and everything. Then my husband got sick 6 months after his retirement. I became his Caregiver up until 8/2019. I decided it's time to get back to beading, and this is definitely going to be one, I'll be making. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that’s a long time to be a caregiver. I’m sorry. You must be an incredibly strong woman! That’s a very admirable quality. I’m excited that you want to make one of my projects to get back into beading that’s very heartwarming.

Greetings from the UK. I want to thank you for a really fabulous tutorial and for the time that you spend making them. I have made 2 of each of the bracelet and the ring and they are among my favourite makes and I just love them! My 1st twisted, so I eased off a bit on the tension and this helped. Tight weaving is a bad habit of mine but I'm learning not to! I made mine as bracelets instead of bangles and it worked really well. Thank you again for this lovely tutorial and all my best wishes.
@TheLittleBeadingCloset2 жыл бұрын
Hello and welcome to The Little Beading Closet. I was so happy to get your comment today. It’s great that you were able to ease up on the tension and get the bracelet to work. When I’m filming the videos I focus on explaining the stitch and never get as much tension as I would if I was just beading off camera because I usually tight weave too. Luckily I really enjoy the video making process but I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your acknowledgement of the work that goes into it. Thanks again and have a beautiful day.

How did you make into bracelet with fastener please
@lindacottam80482 жыл бұрын
@@sylviawalker7993 Hi, after coming out of a superduo I picked up 2 11/0s, a round 2mm crimp bead and 2 11/0s and went into the second hole of the superduo. I went back through this circle of beads a few times to secure and then tied of the thread. I did this to both ends and then attached a suitable sized jump ring through the crimp beads on both ends. Then I attached a foldover clasp that I quite like using to one jump ring. Its just a narrow watch type clasp that sits nice and I find easier to open and close than lobster claws but you could use any clasp of preference really. You could just add enough 11/0s to make a circle and then add any jump ring and clasp but I like to use the round crimp bead as it has a good size hole for attaching stronger jump rings and puts them in the right direction for my clasp. Hope this makes sense and helps.

I’ve personally made four of these bracelets, and I just pulled them out to give it a good look over. My size 6 beads are TOHO (they’re pretty fat - Might depend on the finish of the color you’re using?). - just thinking I think the base of the Superduos and size 6 beads need to be pretty tight to start. (A solid foundation) See mine on PINTREST pin.it/2K8Ejt4 I wish I knew exactly what to say, but I’ll be happy to answer you with any further questions. Love this bracelet. What size wrist does it fit? I’m sure I will need a larger size and more beads. 😊🌹🌞
@TheLittleBeadingCloset3 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the question. The one I made in the tutorial fits my smallish wrist (about a size 7 inch. The important part is making sure the bracelet can slide over your hand to get to your wrist. The finish bangle turns out a little stiff but still flexible enough to roll onto your wrist.I hope this helps you, and answers your question some. Have a beautiful day

This bracelet is beautiful. Have you tried using size 8 seed beads on the base? I thought about playing with 8/0s and maybe using iris duos on top. What do you think?
@TheLittleBeadingCloset3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the beautiful compliment! I think Irisduo’s would definitely be a good substitution for the Gemduo or diamonduo. Usually when I make my pattern I experiment with different sizes too, I’m not sure if the size 8 would or would not work. I have my bracelet in my hand looking at it , If you use a size 8 on the inner part of the bangle then the irisduo on top might sit very very close together. Perhaps using size 15 Seed beads instead of the 11s In conjunction with the size 8?? Just experiment have fun. I hope my thoughts help answer your question. I hope you have a beautiful day

I haven’t heard of size 6. I thought perhaps you mistakenly said size 6, rather than eight.

Could this be modified to take a fastener and at what point thank you
@TheLittleBeadingCloset2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I’ve not tried making the bangle with a faster. I bet it’s possible but may change the finished outcome a bit. I would start with a clasp then a size 6 bead then the regular Superduo/size6 combo for your length. End with a size 6 before adding the other end of your clasp. This is how I would try it. I hope this helps and as always have a beautiful day.

@@TheLittleBeadingCloset I did that but I was wondering if the ring pattern is the same ? If it is Icwill follow that until I get the length that I need.
@TheLittleBeadingCloset3 жыл бұрын
For the bracelet… Using the ring pattern. Replace the size 8 beads with size 6 beads Replace the size 15 beads with size 11, Just putting the three size 11 beads on every size 6 all the way around both sides, I do think the ring tutorial would give you enough to go on.

My wrist is smaller, a 7 inch bracelet fits me very well. It sounds like you may need to use more “approximately 42 or so is my guess” of the diamonduo Beads and the Superduo Beads. There is no clasp, it is a bangle . Again I hope this helps.

Really looking forward to doing this and to exploring your playlist for other pattern 'gems'. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to explain this pattern clearly and slowly so no detail is missed. I can imagine how hard that must be!
