Difficulty: Easy
Create yourself a warm and cosy beanie this winter, in a variety of different stretch fabric. This beanie comes in 3 sizes and is suitable for everyone. This is a great sewing project for all expertise especially beginners. I created this beanie because I didn't have/couldn't find one that had a thick and comfortable band and fit as well as this.

Self-lined for extra warmth and cosiness
The option to have a double band for a relaxed aesthetic
Recommended Fabrics:
This is a great pattern for majority of all stretch fabric that have
elastane or spandex . I recommend using a fabric with high recovery. This means stretch with high elasticity that returns back to its natural form. You can use any type of rib fabric natural or synthetic.
Rib 2x2 , Rib 2x4 and even a tight 1x1 rib. Cotton/elastane, Wool/blend, Jersey

As much as I dislike internet trolls, and at the risk of sounding like an internet troll I'm going to say, $14.99 for a hat pattern; a hat which one can buy for $.99 here in the U.S. doesn't seem reasonable.

@@TeachMeFashion Actually what you are making is not a beanie either, it's a toque using a beanie pattern. The .99 hat is just as valid as the $156.00 one because it has colourful bob marley materials. You're paying for a name, not a type of hat, that is why the price difference. Also a beanie is nothing more then a light weight version of a toque, so people could wear them during the summer and not over heat. I know this because I have been sewing for more then 40 years and I live in Canada. My son wears light weight versions in the summer and heavier one's on the winter. The fabric you are using in the video is for winter, therefor you are making a toque. You want to use a t shirt type material for a summertime beanie. This does not change the fact you put time into your patterns and make the effort to provide materials and instructions for people to use your patterns. I am simply correcting your inaccuracies about what you are making and the information you gave to the first poster.
