Lovely card. Is there a reason not to use a small card blank inside rather than separate pieces?

Thank you so much Kathy. Ooh good point! I based it on a card I made a few years ago which had a different colour underneath but you’re absolutely right, you could pop a card blank in and just score so that the base is longer than the top. X
