What a novel bench design, I love it. Shame aluminium extrusion is so expensive here in the UK or I'd like to give something like this a go myself (Not that I'm in any way as competent as you are but I'd like to try) Thanks for sharing yet again and especially in such trying times for you and the whole of Ukraine. I'm hoping above all hope that peace descends on all of Ukraine ASAP and that the sovereignty of Ukrainian lands are returned rightfully to it's lovely people. The leaders of the free world need to do more to help and not abandon you to the madness of the rabid dog Putin. Slava Ukraini!

An amazing project, ideas just keep popping into my mind of other furniture that you could make using that aluminium profiling and your techniques using the profiled wood instead of the bolts. A chair or even a sofa with an exposed aluminium frame would be awesome. Keep up the great content I love this channel.

What are the aluminum extrusions called?
@markuslangford6946
@markuslangford6946 10 ай бұрын
If you search for slotted, or t slot aluminium, Google tends to find companies selling these extrusions. Different types 30, 40, 45 square with fixtures for 8mm and 10mm channels. In the video I'm guessing they were the double channel based on 45 square with 10mm channel. Very expensive, I think, but convenient otherwise.

Саме так, по приколу, адже влітку це нормально в затінку, взимку в кімнаті, що опалюється, врешті випадків, вибачте, але можливо або перегріти місце на якому сидиш, або дещо переохолодити. Теплопровідність алюмінію суттєва.

This is basically treating wood like plastic... I predict that the wood will start cracking and at the very least split on your glue line. You left no space for it to expand and contract. That's a common rookie mistake. They make all sorts of fasteners for that aluminum channel, and you should of found a sort of a T slot that would have pinned the wood in the center to allow for expansion and contraction. Looks great, but I'm sorry to say that's bad design.
