I love your work and your craftsmanship is superb. Is there any concern about the dimensional integrity of the wood? I’m not sure what the humidity looks like where you live but in New Orleans we experience daily shrinkage and growth in doors.

Very nice. I still do it by hand because I occasionally have to do a few. But when many needs to be done, I would love to be able to make and use templates. Well done. Although, veneer on poplar on the bathroom side, I hope that holds long enough. 😅

Good morning 🌅, GRINwood , very nice work, - , well worth the effort + , good luck for the future, I have made very similar doors 🚪 😂, I ended up purchasing the Mafell door lock SKS 130 , a lot of money but when I was making 5 to 12 doors at a time, you could fit a lock in less then 10 minutes, - 😂 + , it was great to watch you work, - No + advertising, I am retired from Uk , now in my 70s living in France, Stay Safe, keep up the great work,

Гарні двері вийшли!!! Дещо нове навіть почерпнув для себе. Дякую. Але блін.... петлі "бабочки" це найгірще з чим доводилось працювати. Добре хоч 3шт. Але і 3 шт на вагу цих дверей швидко зносяться. Ще б порадив зклеювати в єдине ціле обналічку якщо зарізати під45 градусів, біквою "П". З роками не розійдуться і не зявляться неприємні щілини.

Brilliant work! But what kind of glue did you use for the rounded edge to laminte them? And what did you used for to bend the veneer? Simple water?

Would the razor blade trimming tool be good for jointing two pieces of veneer to be glued edge to edge? I prefer to use hand tools where possible, but I still learn so much watching your vids. What finish liquid did you wipe on. Is it your concoction? A huge thank you.

_За каналом слідкую давно, та пишу вперше.. робота високопрофесійна, просто зачаровує, схоже, що майстру поталанило пройти школу вищого пілотажу у файних британських майстрів, котрі мають ( не усі, а хто хоче) великий experience, бо багато різних будов. Отже, підсумовуючи, робота просто WOW, як лялечка, для душі.. а от hinges.. як холодний душ, хоча виставлені, як книжка пише, за правилом і три штуки.. щоправда, сам вже підзабув розміри у inches, бо давно то було, у далекому 2002. Майстру та сім'ї здоров'я, наснаги для нових звершень, та Перемоги.

результат отличный! вот только сучки довольно крупные, не поведет такую дверь ??? пенить проем лучше с верху в низ, пена будет менее плотно ложится и при расширении меньше выдавливать излишки!!!

@@GRINwood насколько я зная такие сучки со временем сильно тянут древесину. их только вырезать нужно и потом шиповать и склеивать. при склейке нужно смотреть на направление волокон и делать склейку в разные стороны направлений чтобы если потянет то тянуло в разные стороны и тогда будет возможно держать геометрию. надесь это для себя делал ???
