How to Make a Birdfeeder: Wine Bottle Feeder

While doing some research on birdfeeders I came across so many examples of good design. This bottle feeder allowed me to use wood laying around my shop and an empty wine bottle to create a birdfeeder that automatically dispenses birdseed. What a great way to build a sustainable feeder to help our feathered friends.
The design of this feeder allows the birdseed to stay dry while birds continue to feed from it.

What’s to keep the feed from getting wet when the rain comes in sideways?

All bird feeders need continuous maintenance so that birds are not eating moldy food. Whether rain hits the front of the bird feeder or the sides if you have a bird feeder you must maintain it.
