Rcently finished all bosses using the slowest bow in the game. Exept Gwin. Had to Gold Tracer spam him, because he can just jump through the arena to you and I just didnt want to deal with this...

So in summary (remastered): - Glitch yourself infinite titanite - Use titanite to upgrade bow's melee damage - Glitch bow into a melee weapon - Realize that the bow still isn't a good melee weapon - Exploit hole in reality to unlock ultimate ability: T-pose - T-pose until you shit your pants - Bosses are disgusted by your obviously shit-filled pants and refuse to acknowledge you - Snipe them to death like a Skyrim stealth archer - Glitch yourself infinite souls - Use souls exclusively to level endurance - Use endurance exclusively to do a sick 2520° frontflip into an elevator shaft and stick the landing so hard you don't die - Do the Skyrim stealth archer thing again, just without shitting your pants - Find piece of mysterious crystalline substance - Consume the substance, undergo spirit journey to the Kiln of the First Flame - Shit your pants and bitch-slap Gwyn with a flaming bow

He came to torture you again.... And you can't do anything against it. You can't die on purpose. You can't fight even more fiercely. You have to obey the world. Which wants him to conquer you. i did it normally, and it was a lot of fun, surprisingly. o&s was surprisingly also not too hard. i did a lightning bow, so i could down smough really quickly, and super ornstein's ai is super shit, so he just kept doing his dodge-able ranged attack while i filled his ass with 20 million arrows. i used solaire for gwyn because bows can't riposte. overall, i'd recommend doing it the normal way instead of this way.

@@pal1d1nl1ght It's a better fire upgrade path that requires you to have 10 soft humanities for max damage. Otherwise it's a terrible version of fire upgrade. The reason it's so widely used is that elemental weapons don't scale from stats so in PvP you could just put all of your levels into survivability and still deal good damage. If you die you can always pick your humanities up so unless you can't do that without dying again you have a straight-up buffed fire weapon.

This video actually did inspire me to beat the game using a bow primarily. I'm using the composite bow up close, and the black bow of Pharis for sniping. However, I do have a buckler and rapier I keep on hand for enemies that I can parry more easily than I can shoot.

I didnt follow this guide but I was intrigued into playing bow only. Ive sunk hundreds of hours in ds1 and completed it many times but this was such a refreshing way to play. It really makes you think about resource management as well as a slower form of combat which is kinda fun since it plays similar to a stealth game so instead of rushing a bunch of hollows in undead burg or parry / riposte locking other enemies you have to THINK. Highly recommend doing bow only runs in whatever way you want, even crossbows!
