Best tutorial with 2 ribbons- one ribbon even having the pattern on just one side! I think you got jumbled up at the end when you were pulling “front, back, front, back...” I’m pretty sure when you have two different ribbons, you need to pull ..”front, front, back, back, front, front, back, back..” I think that will automatically give you an alternating loop pattern. Thx so much for your video!!!

I had taken a florist course to cover the basics yrs. ago. This technique is unique. With the way my arthritis has limited my ability to do traditional bows that you twist & pinch etc. this is a diff. option to try. Thx for sharing. Happy Holidays

Thank you so much. I do think and I am not an expert, perhaps the problem with long loops happened when you did the cut, I think you went too deep, but I enjoy the video as I am working on my bow myself. Thanks for your time and as somebody else has mentioned you have a very soothing voice, blessing!

I used to do this by cutting v shapes instead of slits. The key is getting that section separated up or under the wired part. The ends were dove tailed to finish.

I am going to be making a lot of Christmas bows for all my packages this year, thanks to you! A few years ago I bought a Bow Dabber from Pat Catan's and it is collecting dust in the closet because I just can't get co-ordinated with it. Making my own bows is something that has always intimidated me and I've wanted to learn. Thanks to your video I have conquered my fear of bow making.

I already said this is the best tutorial I’ve seen- and this is coming from a person whose brain is 100% analytical- meaning I need all the help I can get when it comes to anything remotely creative. The only thing I’d change is instead of using floral wire to hold the middle together- like she shows around the 14:40 mark, I’d use a zip tie! You can get it way tighter. It holds better, and you just need to cut off the end.
@Mylifefullofhope4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes I heard so many people suggest the zip ties. I think it a great idea! Maybe one day I will make a new one with the zip ties. Tfw!
