I bought a couple of large rubber maid totes (along with a smaller rubber maid totes and other containers) of beads and jewelry connectors from a friend’s apartment manager because the older woman who owned them passed away with no next of kin. There’s A LOT of brand new jewelry connectors (for earrings, bracelets, and necklaces) including the end connectors that are on the end of the bracelet in this video (but I had no idea what they were until right now....though they look like miniature purses to me 😊). I have leather cord and I’m excited to make a couple of these bracelets for Christmas gifts.

I’m knot challenged, so it took me awhile tonight to do one of these bracelets....but I still need to put on the ends. My apartment is so dark, even with 3 lamps on (because I did this bracelet late at night) so black leather on black leather was a challenge, but the great thing is that I learned how to make the knots, thus the hardest part for me! Putting on the ends (which I’ll do tomorrow) is going to be the easy part for me. Just in time for me to make a few for Christmas gift giving. 😁 Thank you Kellie for this video!

Great tutorial Kellie! When I was home for Easter my dad sat down and taught me some different knots (he was a Navy man) it was so awesome to learn these techniques.

Thank you! That would have been awesome. Knots are a new obsession of mine. You are so lucky to have had your Dad teach you some. 😀

Don't sell yourself short, beautiful! And thanks for the great tutorial! I plan to actually alter this a bit and extend it to a necklace. :)

That was very cool. I was directed to you by another KZbin host "GGCs beginning beaders" and I'm so happy that I found you. I'll be making some of the leather bracelets using your knotting techniques. Thank you so much for sharing.
