You have the patience of a saint to make your own chains!!!

LOL not to sure about the patience thing, chains can be expensive for good quality ones, so I prefer to save money and make my own, also it means the whole piece is handmade by me! xxx X

Hi Kim, I don't recall seeing your name in the comments before! So I am going to guess you are new to my channel? If so, a very big welcome to you and thanks for joining me! I love to meet new people, especially bead minded buddies! On my channel I try to bring new designs and reworked designs (with my twist) to the "beading" table, so people can get a new prospective on a design or see something totally new! I always aim to inspire! hugs to you. 😊 hope to see you again soon! Linda

I made a copper chain link necklace yesterday, with links i learned from you 😍, and I love it. I try not to cut too much of my wire, and I wonder if it is nessicary to cut off as many small pieces as you do. Or is it difficult to get a hold on if you make it fx 3,25cm instead of 3,5 cm? Thank you for posting your skills for us to learn from 🩷🩷🩷. Love from Denmark 🇩🇰. Lene
@GumnutLaneJewellery7 ай бұрын
Hej Lene, So nice to meet you! I also try not to use too much wire in my work! The measurements I give are in most cases just a guideline, try the 3.25cm and see what you think! It's also much harder for me to demonstrate on camera, so I allow myself a bit more wire to make the job easier! Let me know how you manage it! take care and love from Australia!

@@GumnutLaneJewellery Thank you for answering . ….and so I did. 😁, cut the pieces a little shorter. Then to my next problem. After having worn my necklace made of copper for only one day, (and night) it started to tarnish, and so did my neck. I wear a bracelet too and that doesn’t. There is a little colour difference between the wires I used.. is there anything I can do to prevent the tarnish? (Sorry for my bad english). Love 🥰🩷 from Lene/🇩🇰

where does it tell you how long to cut the wire
@GumnutLaneJewellery11 ай бұрын
Hi Margaret, The lengths for the wire are below the actual video in the " more" section! So if you scroll down, under my video you will see my description of what the video is about and at the end of my words it says "more" click on that and it will drop down and you can see the lengths there! Hope this helps, let me know if you still need help ok!? take care and have a wonderful day!

For some reason I don't have a more button. It looks like you are using 2 and 3 inch length, is that correct

What kind of wire are you using? Silver craft wire?❣️
@GumnutLaneJewellery4 ай бұрын
Hi Holly, I’m using 20g Parawire for this link, it’s a much better quality wire than artistic wire in my opinion! Hope this helps! Have a happy day😀
