The contrast between the offset 808 rumble and chilled lofi style perc is killer
@dillyh32144 жыл бұрын
Your treatment with time-signatures, creating rhythm between different elements is something that many creatives miss out when starting out. It's such a fundamental in my opinion as there is a level of science that goes into the music when broken down. It comes naturally to some and other not so much. There's more to this video if you look a little deeper. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on the approval! I find FL pigeon holes you into making music a certain way, good to see you on Ableton it allows you a lot more freedom. I use Studio One now because it suits my workflow, but Ableton's an old friend.

L.Dre If you like hardware integration then have a look at Studio One. I come from a traditional sound engineering background so I like faders/knobs/buttons. My setup is a Faderport 8, Console 1, Atom and Komplete Kontrol s61. Studio One Pro is a mix of Cubase, Protools and Ableton with a step sequencer like FL and a built in mastering suite

@CMalo-li4nb4 жыл бұрын
always go with Ableton live 10 or else you'll get clowned for the rest of your life, despite it really being the better daw
@yasinrhodes1184 жыл бұрын
C. Malo what makes it better, I’m asking seriously
@CMalo-li4nb4 жыл бұрын
@@yasinrhodes118 well first of all (which was my most important reason to buy Ableton as an Upgrade to logic) Ableton is much more reliable when it comes to crashing Fl studio crashes on every possible computer at least 2-3 times per session because it is poorly optimized Also, besides the stock sounds and sample variation being much better in Ableton, it has a much more comfortable interface to work with (which of course is my subjective opinion) with a less going on while still being customizable Though i have to admit that its probably easier to get into Fl Studio as a beginner because its more intuitive, but as soon as you spend a bit on how to properly navigate through Ableton you will find that you have a lot more tools and possibilities to work with, especially regarding Sounddesign (Ableton has this stock synth called the Wavetable which is basically serum and you can do all kinds of sound with it as soon as you get into sounddesigning) Additionally, i think that Ableton is just a more professional/maturer daw (fl studio has a plug in where it lets an Anime Girl dance to your beat which is all i have to say to this haha) So lookin forward to your future you will get more out of buying Ableton Live 10, because trust me even if you buy Fl Studio now, you are going to want to buy ableton later on in your music career haha

I see talent mos def. I just wish pop music trends didn't dumb a musician and composer's creation down so much. It would be nice to see you build a little more in the track. I understand allowing the artist room to breathe and this is unfortunately where music is at today. On average, I hear 3-4 instruments alone in a beat and that's it now. It would be great if music could be what it used to in the mainstream with more room to build instruments.
