For me, samurai champloo, It's your best work. Unfortunately, it is Spotify itself that inserts AI songs by non-existent artists in the instrumental sector such as LoFi, Ambient, etc. So for artists the only possibility is to bring what is digital into the real world. Do concerts and make yourself known outside. Happy new year from Italy

So something that I've LEARNED about LEARNING from someone is this. Just because someone is good at doing something doesn't necessarily mean that they are good at teaching the thing. Simon is telling you how he learned and if the goal is to find out how he learned then he's going to be the best person to teach you how he learned. But I remember running to great drummers to learn drums and realized that just because someone is good at drums...keys...a thing in general doesn't necessarily mean that they are good at transferring that information to another person. That's a skill in itself. You're trying to learn for the sake of creating not learn for the sake of imitating. Simon started young so that's even a more interesting difference...it's just apart of him now. Plus you know kids got time. When you're young you used to kill it in TEKKEN cause you had time and not a lot of responsibilities. Now you're grown with people expecting music from you. I would say find a REALLY GOOD TEACHER if you're trying to learn that thing quickly.

To all my fellow creators, please remember: Music trends/tastes are cyclical. It’s a roller coaster! Don’t stress, keep creating and keep putting your art into the ethos. We’ll be alright.🙏🏽💪🏽

I dont really listen to lo-fi but everytime I come across your content you seem like a genuine, humble guy who is measured and makes content that aims to provide value to others while living out your artistic ideals so I respect you for that and I hope that remains your core philosophy for life because it is truly something worth aspiring towards.

Have pretty much followed your blueprint for years now L Dre and these end of year videos have always been super inspiring. Funnily enough this year I actually inadvertently ended up going the same way and just doubling down on what i like and not worrying about trying to beat algorithms or hop on trends. Keep it up bro you're the man!

i remember seeing it floating around thru online articles and social media that spotify let go a huge number of staff this past year to save on costs and lots of those released talent were the people that curate playlists and work up mixes for discovering new music to listen to. Plus it seems there was a lot of overlap on those same people being the ones in charge of designing and curating the year end wrapped. People speculate that they tried to shortcut and used ai to make up the loss but i dont think it was ever confirmed on that part.

Maby you got more plays originally because you was making and uploading Hiphop with a name Similar to Dr Dre and there algorithms picked up on that so when people searched for him they found you or was suggested your music. Now that Dr Dre is releasing new music those plays boosts younused to get are now gone because now when people search Dr Dre your music no longer shows because his stuff shows instead. If Snoop Dog hadn't had any new releases for years and I then go post My music under the name S Noop Dogs then I would rank the highest in search everytime anyone Search for Snoop Dogs music. Sounds crazy kinda makes sense to Me.
