How to make a Coffee Pot Spout

There are some ways to make spouts for tea kettles and coffee pots, and this is one of the simpler ways. The size of your spout will be determined by the size of your pot/kettle so it looks like it matches, but the gist of the build itself will remain the same.
I will do the longer (gooseneck) spouts at a different time!

It appeared that the body of the coffee pot was tinned. Was that done in the flat or after the body was formed? If possible show the completion of the pot. Love your new shop. Thanks Ye Old Copper Smith in Rockford.

Yes, it was tinned, and yes, it was done in the flat - Bob taught me to pre-tin all flat pieces of a pattern before forming the body. I have a photo of the finished pot - but not sure where to show it on here! Email me and I can send you the snapshot!
