I would love suggestions on a color palette issue. We have an east-west facing living/dining room, but due to roof overhang it doesn’t get a ton of good natural light. As a result, we rely on artificial light of the soft white/incandescent variety a lot of the time. We would love to stay in the white/off-white family in this space. Our trim is an off white, and that’s making it difficult to determine a good wall color. We have a few warm wood tones and a sofa that is a dark turquoise/teal. Suggestions for the walls? Thanks!!

I like your channel. We are way past needing to paint our house. I have always used earth tones and so tired of it. But not interested in the grey phase. Looking at blues or blue/greens for my walls. But oh so many choices!!

The triad scheme is interesting in the paler values but more so when the deeper versions are used, as in trim around the pillows in your demo, or prints in textiles or art. I look forward to the Scheming videos, hoping they will expand the all elements of decor, and good tips, such as starting with a color from an area rug, or piece if art. That helps me!

No I can’t! Ahhhh! Like me and music I got no relationship. But I do love both Listen, I have decided to paint a main “focal point “ in my basement apartment Reno, the large wood bookcase will be Navy Blue! Classic. I want classic. Now the bathroom has built in shelves 2 x 4’s I am also going to paint navy. I thought it would pull the spaces together. Then as the main colour a light yellow. But what do I do in the main living open concept area? Omg it gives me a headache. I like classic so I won’t have to pay for some one to paint again. The kitchen wall is across from the bookcase. The other two walls, sunnyist dining area. Across from this is couch area. James I will fail your class. Such frustration. Thanks buddy 🙏
