We painted our cabinets Natural Cream. Our family and kitchen are an open concept. Cabinets are on the north side and we have lots of windows on the west side of both rooms. What color wall paint would you recommend?

I have grey barnwood flooring and face north.. just painted my main floor cheviot white which is nice but I'm finding its a bit too black/white and sterile now. Looking for some warmth.. am considering restful white, restoration ivory, white flour, roman column and shell white from Sherwin Williams and not sure what to go with but would like this to be the final time I paint for a while

hello im trying to find out if it is a good idea to paint whole room to black. it will be homegym / studio for making reels. but room have very low ceiling (2m). why i am considering this its because room is very big basement rooms and i have and idea that black can mitigate that line between walls and ceiling and create good effect. is it a good idea?

@4:54 What is going on with the constant mispronunciation of common words? Mouve? It’s pronounced “maav” and in the other video you said “caLIco.” It’s pronounced CAL-i-co. Surprised that someone in the production / editing team does not catch these type of errors when reviewing.

I find Alabaster to be very problematic. My husband and I purchased a home one year ago which had been staged pre-market by having its interior painted in Alabaster throughout. In most of the rooms, especially the bedrooms with windows facing outside landscapes, Alabaster presents as an off-white with a predominantly cool yellow undertone. It almost looks like a very very pale lemon yellow to the point that it clashes horribly with the ivory linen curtains in the master bedroom and the off-white fabric covered headboard on our bed. I wouldn’t describe Alabaster as “creamy”-it’s yellow undertone seems very one note. It doesn’t flatter any of my off-white or light grey furnishings, nor does it seem to meld anything into a unified whole. If I could afford to paint the entire house, I would. Home stagers like Alabaster because it makes interiors look “clean and bright”. It won’t offend buyers. I’ve owned nine homes, been through more paint trials than I can count, and am still searching for the perfect off-white (not too pink, not too grey, not too peach, not too yellow). In my last home I used a “dumbed down” version of Sherwin Williams Natural Linen at 50% pigment strength. It worked fairly well.

This is the color of my fireplace mantle.., why my room is cream in color this really sets off the walnut in my antique furniture. It really has a vintage feel to it, imo
