Hi RR! First, thank you. 🙂 Now, about your question, I haven't tried it, but the closest I did to a mountain was a miniature Christmas tree. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHaWaquQrLl0fcU So, if I were given that task, I'd probably start with a cardboard and newspaper armature/mold. Then, I'd cut strips of fabric, dip them in a cement-water mixture, and lay them on the mold. The next morning, I'd play around with the details by giving the fabric pieces a nice coat of cement-water mixture. Hope this helps. 🙂
