Kudos to @zoehong who made the effort to show us this intricate pattern when other youtubers would just show a simple blouse pattern:) it would be awesome to see this garment actually finished and sewn up and all the processes shown. loving this series a lot lot:)

It can be a bit unnerving to make mistakes and be imperfect on social media! haha There are a lot of haters out there on the internet but I am very lucky that my audience/students are largely positive. I'd rather show that sometimes the muslin to paper transfer is imperfect and use those as teaching moments. One can learn a lot from watching people correct errors.

I love your videos!!!!!!! with the pattern that we just made we have only been working on the right side. To make the pattern on the left do you just mirror the pieces that you’ve already cut? So you’re essentially cutting out two pieces of the same pattern and then sewing them mirror to one another? Also is the purpose for making a pattern with the pieces from the dress form just so you can make more in the future? Or do you have to do this to make sure your fabric fits together in the finished piece. Sorry I’m such a brand new novice to the sewing world and I’m trying to figure everything out!!! 😂😂
