Only time I used algebra was to figure out the amount of border binding I would need for a round table cloth I was making. When I asked the ladies at the fabric store how much of the border braid I needed, neither one knew. Out came algebra and figuring out using "Pie" (by the way there is no sign for that on a keyboard, LOL). Calculated the width times "pie" and had only a very small amount left...as I had bought a tiny bit extra just in case. Also, back in the old days, nurses had to calculate doses by actually doing the calculations. Thank goodness for calculators. LOL

Cool book. Yes, I use algebra still. No matter what we do as a profession, it’s good to be able to figure out the missing numbers. Many people use algebra and don’t even realize it, so they claim they don’t use it.

I love these little journals. At one of my local thrift stores I found journals all packaged up together. One had an Elsa and Anna work book and two just plain journals. I'm giving them to my 6yr old great granddaughter. She watched me make journals, so am hoping that she can make one of them into something she likes. I've also got digies of Elas and Anna coloring pages for her to color and maybe add to her journal. I made her and her twin brother journals for their 6th birthday. They both loved them. Lillians was birds and had cutouts of Elsa and Anna. Both had some off their school work and pics of them that They did at school. When asked to show her faviorite book to her taecher on face time, Lillan showed her junk journal. The teacher was very impressed espically cause It had some of Lillian's school work.
