Thanks for sharing this tutorial-I have always made stars this way in crochet and have never seen anyone teach it this way on KZbin. It really is the best and simplified star to do,and I always use magic circle because I like the closed tight centers for most crochet items unless of course, it may be a lacey stitch that needs to stay open. Kudos for showing this.

I have found your instructions to be the easiest. I have watched hours of video. Thank you for making it simple for a beginner. My son asked me to make an American Flag Afgan!!!. I am learning on a fly to not dissappoint him. How long does it take to get as good as you? I have to make 50.

I have no idea how to crochet and kind of taught myself as I guess most people do, but I've made a blanket and I've been working on the stars. Mine needed to be smaller although this is a huge blanket. So somehow I modified this and I've created a pattern of small stars. The difficulty I'm having is attaching the stars so that it looks nice and neat. I'm also going to use the back side these. Fingers crossed that I can do this.

Thanks, very easy to follow along. Question if I wanted a star bigger like 4 “ big how do I do it?
@HeartHookHome3 жыл бұрын
Hmm...you could try using a bigger yarn and a bigger hook.

Hi, can you tell me what the finished size of the star is?
@HeartHookHome3 жыл бұрын
That all depends on the yarn and hook size, but a few inches (give or take).

how big are the stars when you're done?
@HeartHookHome5 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the yarn that you use, but I'd say around 3 inches.
