How to make a Crossbow - Homemade PVC Crossbow
Here is a crossbow made with PVC. It is easy to make with common tools and a little time. You do not need any heat or reshaping of the PVC to make this. It is powerful enough to put a hole in a wall from across the room, so do not play with this inside your house.
Do not point his crossbow at anyone or any living creatures because it can hurt them badly.
Just remember that PVC is only a form of hard plastic. It can and will break if too much weight or force is applied and injuries can occur. Please use caution when using anything made from pvc.

There are pvc tees that are designed to snap over an existing pipe line. In plumbing it is used to tap into a water line without cutting the line. It would be easier to buy this fitting then to take the time to cut a tee. Well that is if you are buying the supplies instead of reusing old parts.

you need to flatten your bow because the pressure u put on it when you pull your string is uneven and it messes with the bow. also you want to keep your string with constant pressure but besides that this is pretty cool

I'd like to use your design in class to launch either a shooter marble or a golf ball. Any ideas on how to have your string running through a pipe while firing to drive a ball?

+MrWolftalksPhysics The only thing I can think of is attaching another pipe to the top of the shaft and cut a slot in it for the paracord to pass through. Just keep in mind that this was never designed for a ball so it might be a little difficult.

Love your projects wondering if bank line would work better. It's more like bow string it's great stuff. You can add or subtract strands and or twist

Man, just about any kind of twine or string will work just fine as long as it's not stretchy. I mostly use paracord. You can even use weed trimmer line (monofilament).

joseph lamoureux It is a plastic T for an air line. I cut off one side and filed the other down. Then placed it in pipe and drilled a hole to hold it in place with wire. Watch closely in video, it is in 720 HD

It can't hurt but the CPVC is totally unnecessary in the bow ends. I've made many PVC bows and crossbows and never had to reinforce the ends of the bow. The end caps are a plus.

It would be great if you could go into more detail for the trigger since the trigger is usually the trickiest part of any crossbow. I know it's simple and it was simple for you to make but still, no amount of explaining can give a picture of what's hidden inside that pipe. I typed in your website but it redirects back to KZbin. if you could just post a series of pics of each step, that would be sufficient. No video needed.
