How to Make a Custom Envelope with the New Sizzix Making Tool

In this brief tutorial, I'm going to show you how to make a cute 4" x 4" envelope for my handmade greeting card using the NEW Sizzix Making Tool. This tool is a scoreboard, and a trimmer rolled into one.
It has a few other additional features that will help you take your paper crafting to the next level.
I have made envelopes and gift tags with this tool so far, and I'm looking forward to making boxes and other crafty items.

I have no issues using the envelope maker. I think your problem would be solved if you used the other side of the trimmer when lining up the score lines to snip out the triangles. Good luck.

I agree that it’s got good features but needs improvement. Not happy fir what it cost. I’ve tried brand new trimmer blade and still not a clean cut. Your instructions were way more clear than the actual Sizzix video. Thanks

Thanks for your input. I barely use the trimmer except when I’m making envelopes or boxes. I used to love making 6x6 cards and that’s why I thought the Sizzix would be helpful but now I only make 5 ½ x 5 ½ because one I halve the card stock on the Sizzix, I take it to my smaller guillotine to clean the edges. :(
