The level of design and quality of implementation is astounding. It must be frustrating to design, refine, upload the .stl's and construction info as well as make a very well done video and only get 15k views. Cudos to you for doing this. The best part is this works. I mean it works really well. I honestly did not think the print would work. In fact I changed the orientation of one item thinking it would print better that way, only to see it print incorrectly (non-circular hole). I tried again just using your placement and voila! It printed perfectly. As did everything. I'm still not sure how that happened lol. Some design magic going on lol. The actual device also works just as advertised. For those making and using this, do pay attention to where the bottom of the screw head lines up with the size marks. One side is even, the other odd. I have subbed to your channel, and will spread links on SM to help out your channel. Although you have a very respectful 830k+ subs, you've never once been in my suggested. I found this with a google search. I look forward to seeing your other content. :)

This is very similar to bear upgrade PTFE jig for cutting PFTE tube for Bear Exxa, though there you can only get one size -- 45mm. In that setup instead of using Philips drill bit, it is possible to use CNC milling cutter that is somewhat more precise, if a milling cutter is available.

Sure, if you have access to one. Just make sure to clean up any loose bits left inside the tube, so they don't get stuck into the hotend.

i printed this and love it, but would love a version that does 61mm tubes, since i don't have source files to modify it

@@MihaiDesigns for the babybullet tool on the jubilee toolchanger. Its like the E3D toolchanger but more community driven. If i were you i would keep the same 40mm screw, change the letters and change the length where the tube sits

What does chamfering and widening one side do?

The widening is for the filament to easily enter the tube after it passes the extruder gears. The chamfering is for better alignment inside the hotend.

Indeed, counterclockwise. The other direction won't cut. But you can print the part mirrored and then it'll cut the other way :)
