Since the price of wood has gone up, I made a new video on how to make one of these for FREE with a Pallet! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZO5iHVmicl7b5I

Made this today. Was free, because I had scrap wood. Took under an hour. Amazing idea! Works well!

No problem. Works great. And you can keep it simple too by using 1 piece like my prototype. This was me being fancy, lol.

does the bottom of it damage the wood on your platform?
@BarbellSanctuary4 жыл бұрын
Nope. It's softer wood than the platform, so its fine.

I didn't build anything yet but i modified some. Ex. I had a Boflex dumbbell stand, but just had regular dumbbells ( Boflex are frigging expensive) and modified the stand to take regular dumbbells ...

@@eastcoast163 Nice! Always a good feeling when you can re purpose the gear you have. Right now I'm playing around with my iron master dumbbells that go to 75#. I'm using different size washers and I'm able to load them up to 120 lbs each with the cheap 1" plates.

EXCELLENT ! I just use a wood ramp wrapped in duck tape for. I',m gonna make this, OH and My RACK is 35 years old and WOOD Pressure treated 4 x 4 and LOTS of lag bolts for pins
@BarbellSanctuary4 жыл бұрын
Nice! I'm actually considering selling my rack and building a wood one...... maybe i'll do the build first, then sell, hahah

@@BarbellSanctuary I STILL LOVE my version 5 each of 8 foot 4 x 4 pressure treated timber and 1 8 foot 2x4 . 1/2 lap the bottom 2 angles of the triangle base BOLT together . width = HOW how open space to outside of barbell outer collars . I use TOW STRAPS from lag screw to O bar . for safety. YOU will need at least a 4 foot level when marking off leg screw heights. mine are - flat bench - incline bench - seated military press . standing squat - standing shrugs - barbell curls, - seated calf raises . THEN yuo can add inbetween lag screws for additional heights of each exercise, ANY ?'s hit me up .

I see you use safety squints, but don't bother with ear protection! I was AVN, as well - it's all pops and whistles, anyway!! I think I'll build the Mark 1 - the Mark 2 looks too bulky. Thanks for sharing!
