That is so stinking cute. I am more of a spring and fall person.🌻 Hot and humid weather doesn't agree well with me. I never thought about using pom poms for the center of a flower, I started watching around 6 years ago. I had some medical problems and now I am able to comment and watch again. I love your work so so wonderfully talented

Hi Julie. I just found your tutorials about a week ago and am hooked on attempting your wreaths. I like the way you present your tutorials. The only difficulty I have run into is finding the 10" wreath forms. All the sites I have visited are sold out and are unsure of future availability. I was able to order 8" frames from Amazon but still waiting for delivery. This tutorial alleviated my anxiety over not having the correct size frame. Will be attempting my first ever sunflower later this afternoon. Love your tutorials because you don't talk excessively and your directions are exceptionally clear so even a newbie like myself feels like I can accomplish it. Thank You!
@JuliesWreathBoutique4 жыл бұрын
You can always adjust your wreath to the size of the frame. So if you use 12” frame just know that you will need more petals and may need an extra bigger center or just another layer of petals. I did make a video a couple of weeks ago showing you how to use a DT product to substitute for a 10” wreath frame.

Thank you so much for making this video. When I started making wreaths a few years ago, I was buying a lot of the DT mesh, I hated it but it was the only thing I knew. I have so much of it and didn't know what to do with it. Now I know how to use some of it up. I started watching your videos a couple of years ago, and about a year ago finally got up the courage to buy some poly burlap and start making flower wreaths. I love your videos and the way you teach. Thank you so much for coming into my life.

Wow! You surprised me, you used deco mesh. It turned out Beautiful! The best part of this wreath is, it seems like one that anyone could do. I love the Pom Pom center, what a clever idea. I don't have 5.5" mesh, so I was wondering, why couldn't I cut 10" mesh into 5.5 " strips, and do the same thing. As usual, I totally enjoyed your video. Thank You for sharing Your Time, and Talent with all of us. I've been watching you 6 months or more, I've made floral wreaths for approx 20 years, But just started making mesh wreaths, approx 6 months ago, so now I have another craft addiction. I live in Idaho. 😎 🌅🍦 OK, I tried what I asked about with a piece of 10" mesh, but I cut it in 1/2 (5" instead of 5.5) to save on waste, it works 😁 I also had another idea for flower centers. I also quilt so I have a lot of batting in different thicknesses. And I was thinking, cover a piece of plastic canvas with 2 layers of a thick batting, then cut a circle of fabric a few inches bigger around, put it over the batting covered canvas, then gather it on the other side (kind of like making a fabric yo yo) , once that is done, you could tuft the top, once done, glue, or wire it to the middle of the wreath. If wiring it to the wreath, put the wire on the canvas, then do all the rest.

Thanks to your wonderful video, I was able to make this flower. Some things I did differently (but the same), I didn't have 5.5" mesh, so I cut 5, strips of 10" mesh , purple (I know, it's supposed to be 5.5") I then made the petals the way you showed. I didn't have a 6" frame, so I used an 8" dollar tree frame, there are 24 first row, 21 second row, and 10 third row. I made my center with plastic canvas cut the size of a DVD, then I put 2 rounds of 1/2" batting on that, then covered it with fabric, which I gathered around the back, and attached it to the center of the wreath. It came out so pretty, it will be a Christmas present for my purple loving neighbor/friend. Thank You for showing how to do this. Now I have to make 2 more, 1 for my purple loving cousin, and 1 for me (red)
