This was awesome. I’ve been looking to make a homemade feeder like the one you made in this. If have quite a few of those plastic barrels laying around so this will be a great project. Thank you for the video!!

Buck Jam does wonders. Check it out at Fleet Farm when you're there next. Cheap!!! Deer are all about it

An empty five gallon Culligan water bottle makes a great funnel. Much easier to fill.

On my property, I go through 200 lbs in a week. The deer and turkey eat it up like candy.

Does this protect it from mold as well?

Drill a hole in each corner then cut from corner to corner... Just a tip.

Well you could order the 79$ wild game feeder from academy that holds 225lbs, set it up in 10 minutes, and only have to fill it every 3-4 months and charge the 6 volt battery every 6 months. Gravity feeders are great but you end up spending way more in corn every year than it would cost you to buy an electric feeder on a timer.

The timer on that feeder didn't even last a whole season for me.

So it gravity feeds out pretty good this way, you don’t try to put a 2x4 or something under it to tilt it a little?
@hardwateroutdoors44814 жыл бұрын
i just let it go dont add anything else

@@wesleybryant7334 yeah everything works i like this because when it rains you don't have corn getting moldy

You’re mistaken if you think this design will keep squirrels, coons or any other small animals from eating the corn.

I have an open head 55 gallon drum that I get filled occasionally, it holds roughly 350 pounds give or take a few.

mistake number one, why do you guys think flip flops or slides are good to wear in the woods or tall unmanicured areas?? never understood that at all

That's going to smell so bad when it sours.

If you feed deer corn, it will mess up their digestive system and the deer will slowly die!!! Feed them oats and tree Vegetation.
