A small tip from me If you cant insert the paper stick inside the katana use a big newspaper. I tried paper sticks but they keep falling then I use a newspaper stick and it made it so stable. You can also use it

or use icecream sticks with glue they are so durable even if u hit a wall it wont break and also to inset the chain of icecreams sticks dont glue the blade and seal it keep it open from the sides then after everything is done insert the sticks and then glue it together

This is the best tutorial I’ve seen of all the tutorials since it does not need a lot of materials and is very stable! Im going to actually make this today or tomorrow! Thx for the tutorial Update after 1 year: I made the thing and it already broke in the middle of making, Around 10 months ago i forgot about paper crafts and i just discovered it again around november 2022. Yesterday (december 3 2022) I made an actual paper katana since i was bored, i used cardboard and paper with alot of tape and made a really stable one. Works really well and might make a tutorial on it someday

it not stable trust me u take 1 BREATHING SWING and it starts to bend if u dont use FLAME BREATHING SWING at a brick wall or just swing in general it ok

This was a great tutorial and idea. At the end my paper rolls didnt go through the whole sword and they became unstable and soft. I used a long plastic bar and now my Katana is perfect.

You now making the blade like that makes it way easier to just bend or rip when i make katanas i roll up paper since the paper is rolled up its harder to rip the sword and a bit harder to rip the sword but aside from that good job! 😀 i shall make this tomorrow
