How to make a DIY Cardboard Knife

Yesterday (which was Halloween), this video helped me make a quick DIY machete for my Kuchisake-Onna costume (because a machete is easier to make than scissors). It was sloppy because I didn't have that much time. It was basically three pieces if cardboard I cut out and glued together, then taped together to make it sturdier, and wrapped foil around the blade to make it shiny. I enjoyed it.

Cardboard can be sharp af sometimes. I’ve got just as much cuts from cardboard; just like with knives.

Materials if somebody is confused Cardboard Cutter Scissors Paper Pencil/pen/marker or whatever for tracing u would like.. Glue (hot glue 💪🏻) Scale

What are the materials?

Double and single corrugated cardboard and what looks to be thin chipboard; you can get away with using cereal box cardboard, it's what I used. The really thin stuff looks like brown packing or craft paper. The glue is they used is probably low temp hotglue, I wouldn't use Hi-temp for this build.

@@hanjisungkk parts are double corrugated and parts are single from what I can see. If you can't get double corrugated you can glue two pieces of single to each other to make double corrugated, just press it under something flat and moderately heavy overnight to keep it from warping. So yes, I do think yiu need to use both; you could always try just single to see how it works out though.
