Oh my goodness what I loved the most was seeing you and hearing your voice. You two sisters are so lovely and it is precious seeing you crafting together. I love that rag tree craft very cute. A great craft for a beginner crafter. Did you know you can cover ornaments in your parents clothing or curtains ( any home linens) they had in their home and give them as gifts in their honor for Christmas? The best part of this video is seeing two sisters coming together and just sharing your hearts authentically. It is a beautiful video of your love for each other and your beloved parents. That little shout out you gave me touched me deeply. It was fun hearing me called Becky from Bell Buckle, that made me laugh. I try to lift others up and I am very glad we met through Facebook and your willingness to try your art. I love my spring Angel you brilliantly gorgeously painted and having it in my guest room. It is my favorite decoration / art in the entire room! I love knowing she is there and over my special guests in my guest room when they visit my Sonflower Farm. I hope God continues to send you strong messages to use your talents! Glad you have your Mothers items to bring you special comforts and I loved hearing about them. The best though is hearing your love for each other as you grieve the loss of your parents this first Christmas season without them. They must have been just like having magic having them. Everyone should be so lucky to have so loved their parents. You do realize it is a gift to be able to have been so loved and to miss them so much, not everyone is so lucky. I will keep you both in my heart this holiday and Christmas season as you continue to grieve. Take all the time you need. Everyone grieves differently. Keep crafting and creating and spreading you! It is divine!

Becky, you brought me to the ugly cry!! Thank you for your kind, encouraging, uplifting words of wisdom from your heart!! Robbie & I do love each other very much & we do realize we hurt so much because we were loved so much by Mom & Dad. That is why our grieving is like a roller coaster. One that seems like we just can’t get off of. We know it takes time…❤️🙏✝️❤️

I. Never thought of using something that loved or cared about. I will never understand why people throw everything away from their family belongings like they were garbage. I held on to my sisters things till we had a fire in our home so I had to trow her things away with a really broken heart 💔because I never thought of making something from her beautiful things that she would wear 💔 or do something something that I could have done with her belongings. Like I said people who throw everything away from the people, mothers, fathers, sons sons, daughters, grandparents, grandchildren, special friends and and mostly the one family member that they were were always by there there side, loved them, kiss 💋 them when they needed someone by them is their precious animal. So when I was reading this I thought about so many people who couldn't wait to sell the house they had so many gathering and just throw everything away . Thank you for your time or your ideas on how they can remember that they had people who loved them when they really needed them. What a shame they love to to throw their loved ones belongings that they will never 👀see again.

I am so sorry about your house fire. And the loss of the items but most importantly, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. We too lost a sister, when I was in high school. She was only 17 & I was 16 at the time. Sadly, I don’t have any clothes if hers, but I do have a necklace that I’ll cherish always!!

Hello ladies! I am coming over from Arlynn's Country Craft Corner! Love the tree's ...what a sweet idea. I also love Jesus and it is so great to hear you all talk about the Lord. So sorry about the passing of your Mama and Daddy. I lost my Dad in 1991 and my Mama has lived with me and my husband for the last seven years. She has had a very rough last 2 yrs and we now have Hospice Care for her. We know we are nearing the end of our time with her here on earth and are trying to take it all in. May God bless you both and comfort you during this season of your lives. Merry Christmas and happy crafting!🎄

Hello Sweet Lady!! Thank you for coming over & saying hi & for subscribing!! You can’t know what that means to us except, you’re a fellow woman of faith so I bet you truly do know!!✝️🙏❤️ Sorry for your loss too darling!! Cherish these years with your mama!! Take the pictures. Share the stories. Share the laughter!! Soak it all in indeed!!❤️🥰 Time goes by so fast!! We lost our mama 1st & then daddy 4 months later, it still has not fully soaked in. But they are celebrating everyday with our Lord and Savior!! Knowing that helps me to cope!! They are happy, I should be too…it is because we loved so hard that we hurt so much. Enough of that… Thank you for liking the trees, give them a try!! We may use some of Mom & Dad’s clothes to make some for family. 🎄❤️

Cute and easy for sure. Love your ideas for your family Christmas's. We too have done the white elephant exchange. We also did a couple years where we drew names for a secret Santa and all the gifts had to be homemade. Those who weren't crafty made gag gifts. All of us who got involved still have our gifts. I learnt so much about members of my family that I didn't know. Such talent was expressed, plus if you didn't want to do it you just didn't draw a name. Of course there was a valve limit to the gifts as well. So glad you still have each other.

How many different fabrics What size to cut strips Size of wood bottom and size of dowel rod? Your are so cute

I believe my sister used scrap wood she had. I think 4 inch base perhaps. The video spoke on the strip sizes. Multiple lengths. How many fabrics is a design choice. Just a reg. Size dowel rod. Hope that helps.
