Definitely going to make this soon! Thanks, Marie. I too have hair that’s not super oil tolerant but I love using camellia seed oil, broccoli seed oil and hibiscus oil (a recent find for me) for hair products. I also love kukui oil in teensy amounts as it coats the hair and lips with a sheen similar to the effects of castor oil but not as heavy.

Loved the idea of putting ingredients in the oven. Gosh i know the pain of trying to melt behentrimonium chloride/methosulfate in a water bath!!

I'm glad it's not just me! It's so frustrating when the bag/website says hot water should do the trick and it. just. doesn't. 😬

Hi Thank you for the tutorial. Why don't you just out the baker in an ice water, that will make the lotion cool down after wouldn't it? Or will that process affect the end texture of the product?

Hello, could you please make the leave in conditioner spray using Behentrimonium chloride as well 😀👏
@eustacevenant45672 жыл бұрын
I found some behentromonium chloride but it’s in liquid form! Is it ok to use, because I see yours plus all I have read about is in solid form. Any advice? Thank you 😊 I

Late to the party but can this be used as a regular conditioner and washed out? Or is there another version of this? Much thanks Marie! I've made the conditioner bars but I'm just not liking "bar type" conditioner 😒

The real question is...where can I get these spatulas! Hahah. They should sponsor you because I’m trying to get them!
@jennyinthewoods78874 жыл бұрын
They work just as great as they appear to! I've ordered a bunch (they get used A LOT) from amazon. You can find them for about $5-$7 each (worth every penny!) Just search Amazon for "Norpro spatulas" and you'll find them right away.

Hi! Thanks so much for such an amazing video and all the learning you share on your website 🤗 I have a sensitivity to Cetostearyl alcohol/cetyl and stearyl alcohol ...I note on the website that there are no clear subs for it. Is that really the case? Is there nothing I might use instead? It’s all over commercial hair care products and was hoping to DIY to avoid 🤞🏾

Great as always👌 tnx dear for sharing your knowledge🙏 would you plz explain me how i can create more thicky texture? is it by adding BTAC or adding Cetearyl alcohol?!

Hi Marie. I have tussah silk (for soap making) and a liquid hydrolyzed silk protein. Could either one of those be used instead of the silk powder? If so, would they be used at the same amount?
