I always start my mix with a low bpm and increase the tempo throughout the mix. Always adds more tension and it's like a buildup for heavier music!

I only rip and I play clubs. Just rip as a lossless audio format like WAV or FLAC. It works always and you don’t have to worry about buying obscure remixes for tracks

A good tip would be don't buy too much at once. I bought the full collection of Ecko Records tunes, about 520 tracks, It's been a nightmare trying to sort through and catalogue that many tunes at one time.

Came back to this. Cause I am having issues getting songs blocked... it takes sooo long to upload a mix in general. So I thought to myself. Why isnt there a list that youtube publishes where you can just search tracks that may get blocked. But I get it. Instead I will learn to not be such a baby and take your advice... im getting so much better but I am learning what gets blocked. I dont care about monetization for my videos yet. I just want to have content I can direct people to so potential clients can see how I mix. The whole of the DJ game is definitely harder than I thought it would be. But that makes me love it even more. The challenges are so interesting and educational. I love this new roadblock honestly. To know I either have to buy the rights or navigate the field is definitely fair game. It lets me know that when I do break through. I WILL KNOW for sure I earned it and that my peers I find along the way truly earned it too. Its helping me be more grateful of my time and more diligent in my goals. I think there are many untapped sources for DJ income. And I am on a mission to elevate and find that. The DJ scene is not congested. It is finally gonna get the chance to take a true center stage. The music scene as of now is kind of stale and bland. The DJ is becoming the seasoning. Im developing the spice at just the right time I think. But this video is so helpful because I still have yet to post a successfully unedited mix. But I am also posting stupid video mixes so Im getting flagged even more for the visual copyrights. I respect it. Gotta do my homework. So I can really start posting some creative mixes. Thanks for your help again Carlo.

Ohhhh, that's something I don't specialize in as I don't really have the equipment for it. Though it's usually a simple VGA cable to the club's equipment if they have the setup!

Hmmmm, anything that goes from RCA/PL/XLR to whatever your phone has for an input, be it Type C, 3.5mm, or lightning. Check your local websites to see what they can offer. iRig has a selection of those too

Any mid-tier editing software will do! Don't use your phone audio too; use the recording from your software, and just overlay the video

BPM is where you get music and serato is the program

Its best to make it a single file, so that you don't end up with any accidental hiccups. More often than not, putting individual files will probably cause KZbin to copyright it more easily than mixed files
