Dj Carlo, this vid is great for those who are just starting out. I was going to link this to a few friends, but was curious if there is any point of an update to any of this. If not, I'll send it! Honest, I feel this is current but you stay on top of this stuff better than I do

Another random question 😂, so im playing city pop mix the should i Mix out until the wave form completely disappear or should i measure them with 32 scroll until the end? The outro does not have lyrics at all so im confused where should i cue the outro at and some also only 16beat outro so i have to loop
@CARS_NI1244 сағат бұрын
I do, 0 issues at all but I mostly use my s2 mk3 for trance and ddj400 for house, electro etc

This is just awesome, tech house is my absolute favourite genre and especially the features of the rotary mixer are letting the mix sound more different than expected 😮

What does it mean that the flx 4 comes with rekordbox and serato lite. (I know that that are programs for music) but is the flx 4 just compatible with both and the other not with rekordbox.

"Over saturated industry." Damn..... & i thought it was over saturated in 1995. Promoters burned out without paying. Clubs only wanted to pay in drinks. & forget about it when the cops show up and people scatter when the lights go up. Words from an old burned out raver. Everybody wants to be a dj. Just like everybody wants to be a guitar player. Take a step back from the endless competition & do lights , laser & aways have an in.

How do you set all of these settings onto a CDJ or XDJ - for example the track phrasing colors or the in-key highlights. Is this not possible?
@djcarlo19 сағат бұрын
Oh man, these things work somewhat differently on CDJs, so i haven't had the chance to play around with them. I'm not totally sure if they're possible either

Quality is everything! You're free to convert it to any other file format after, but you're quite literally the first person to complain about it being in WAV

21 year old soon to be business student, just acquired a FLX4 after being in love with DNB for years now. Any guidance anyone has for somebody just starting out, would be amazing because a lot of internet guidance is tailored to house/techno and I need it to be based more around Jungle/rollers and how to smoothly utilise the entire deck in front of me.
@djcarlo19 сағат бұрын
I'd recommend practicing with house/techno first, just to solidify your basic skills, then apply those to DnB after. Also! Look up DnB mixes on KZbin to see how people flow with the music
