Do you know how to make the glass part destructible but not the door itself? I'm having a problem with a moving static object, I have a glass pane in a door and am trying to make it destructible, problem is when it moves it immediately breaks. In the destructible mesh, if I remove collision for statics then it doesn't move with the door.

figured out, made box collision big to completely capture the door =)

The collision box is only for detecting a collision as the name says, which in this case detects if the player is within range to open the door. If your doors are twitching like you said in the previous comment, then yes you need a bigger collision area to ensure that the timeline of the door reaches the end.

@@CrisTechCuts I would love to see someone make a Call of Duty Zombies series. Would love to see that!

That’s a huge project that would take months to complete, because you’ll have to make your character movements, shooting mechanisms, AI for the zombies and so on. Of course, you can save yourself hours of work by buying assets ready for this project, but nevertheless it will still take a long time. My idea was to make simple projects for people to get them started with UE, with hopes of making bigger projects in the near future. I’m unable now because I’m a senior computer engineering student so it will have to wait. Thank you for hanging out.

This only works if the doors are set to not generate overlapping events.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I checked the doors again and I didn't encounter your problem. What I would suggest is that you enlarge your collision box in case it's smaller than the example in the video. You need to make sure that the player is standing inside of the collision box.
