Great idea Scott. We are up on the river all the time. This year is a great year for harvesting driftwood, normally most of the driftwood is have submerged and too wet to harvest.

Not much submerged right now, for sure. I just wish it was all closer to an access point. Those darn logs tend to be pretty heavy.

Cool concept. However, I do wish you would wear some safety chaps. No one predicts an accident, but an accident can be prevented. ... I grew up in St. Peters. Dad and I use to love walking these river shores finding old bones, arrow heads, fossils, glass bottles, metals of all sorts, and cool twisted driftwood. Sure is an endless amount of material there when the rivers are low late summers. I'm sure it's all changed since I was last walking around there around 40 years ago.

You aren't wrong when you say endless. I think about the little bit of the river I see and the fact that it runs from Montana and it boggles my mind to think about how much is out there.
