My mosses, ferns and lymps all grew well but I used too much soil in mine and it thinned out and died back. I have tree frog's so what else can I use as a substrate? More wood and leaves? I'm thinking about going to a local rainforest and collecting the leaves as it has moss ferns and other spors already in it........

I use a cheap patio led downlight, it has 3 colour settings and the highest being 5600K 900 lumen white. The mosses respond well to it.

What you think of aquarium-safe silicon glue, and lots of java moss pieces? Glue the java moss to the back wall and mist 1 minute twice a day still.

I think that could potentially kill the java moss but I may be wrong. I would silicone sphagnum instead and then layer tiny fragments of java moss on the sphagnum after

Hi Lauren, I wouldnt recommend this method for crested geckos as it requires very high humidity compared to what crested geckos usually have.
